Reading Wednesday
Feb. 12th, 2020 11:21 amHey it's a Wednesday and I'm remembering that Reading Wednesdays are a thing! I am currently reading:
The Unruly Queen: The Life of Queen Caroline by Flora Fraser. It's about Caroline, the wife of George IV of England. I don't know very much besides the obvious events from this period of history, and I'm only 30-something pages in so far, but the phrase "outrageous behavior" is used in the dust jacket synopsis of the book, so it should be a fun time.
Till We Have Faces: A Myth Retold by CS Lewis. It's been ages since I read this one, and I got the audiobook on Overdrive, so I can listen while doing the dishes or knitting or whatever. I don't know if it's my top favorite CS Lewis book, but it's definitely top three, and it has a few of my absolute favorite lines in it.
I have a couple of other books on the back burner and more I need to pick up at the library by the 17th, but those are the main two.
