Hello, dear creator! Innumerable Stars is my favorite exchange and I'm so very excited to see what you make! Any and all prompts are entirely optional, and if nothing in this letter strikes your fancy you can find other exchange letters under the tag in my DW.
DNW: No really graphic violence (canon-typical is fine). Canon-divergence AUs are fine, but nothing that takes it out of the canon world--no coffee shop AUs or whatever, in other words. No smut, please, or incest, etc. I would also not like anything movie-verse, especially for The Hobbit. I also would not like to read fic in which Elros and/or Elrond outright hate their parents, or call Maglor "Father" (he’s absolutely a father figure but he’s not their father, if that makes sense).

Worldbuilding: Worldbuilding: Stories and Storytelling (Crossover)
Worldbuilding: In-universe authors of the Middle-earth saga: their differences and commonalities
Worldbuilding: Valinor
Worldbuilding: Meeting in the Forest
Worldbuilding: Inns & Pubs & Taverns (Crossover)
Worldbuilding: Elves &/or Ainur in History (Crossover)
This is the signup where I just want Hobbits Meeting All The People! There are so many cool narrative and thematic things to explore with all of the characters above--not to mention the various personalities that come into play. I have no real specific requests for any of them, except that in Frodo's case I love fanworks exploring his healing and recovery after he comes to Valinor.

Smith of Wootton Major
Characters:
Group: Nell & Alf Prentice (Smith)
Smith (Smith)
Alf Prentice (Smith)
Group: Ned Smithson & Alf Prentice (Smith)
Original Character (Smith)
Worldbuilding:Worldbuilding: The Relationship of Faerie to Our World (Smith)
Worldbuilding: Craft in Wootton Major (Smith)
Worldbuilding: The Borders of Faery (Smith)
Worldbuilding: Past Bearers of the Star and their Journeys to Faerie (Smith)
Worldbuilding: Trees and their Powers (Smith)
For these I would dearly love gapfillers. Smith spends hears wandering about Faerie and we get so little of it in the story! I'd also love more expansion on Wootton Major and Alf's relationship with Smith's family, perhaps while he's gone.

RoverandomCharacters:Group: The Moon Rover & The Sea Rover (Rover)
Group: Roverandom & The Sea Rover (Rover)
Group: Roverandom & The Moon Rover & The Sea Rover (Rover)

The Moon Rover (Rover)
The Sea Rover (Rover)

Worldbuilding: The Moon Path (Rover)
Worldbuilding: Roverandom's Further Adventures (Rover)
Worldbuilding: The Isle of Lost Dogs (Rover)
Worldbuilding: Memories and half-forgotten things on the Dark Side of the Moon (Rover)
Post-canon adventures for Roverandom and the other Rovers would be really lovely. That's all I've really got, aside from a general love of worldbuilding and maybe some backstory on the Sea and Moon Rovers--also the two of them meeting via Roverandom would be really fun, I think!

The Lord of the RingsWorldbuilding:worldbuilding: Rivendell as a place and environment
Worldbuilding: gardening (LotR books)
worldbuilding: bystander pov on canon characters
Worldbuilding: Sailing to Valinor (LotR Books)
Worldbuilding: Interracial friendships

Characters 1:Fredegar Bolger (LotR books)
Elanor Gardner (LotR books)
Group: Bilbo & Merry (LotR books)
Group: Bilbo & Pippin (LotR books)
Group: Bilbo & Sam (LotR books)
Group: Bilbo & Frodo (LotR books)
Frodo Baggins (LOTR books)
Pippin Took (LOTR books)
Merry Brandybuck (LOTR books)
This batch of characters is all Hobbits All The Time. Fatty Bolger needs more love--a gapfiller of what's going on in the Shire while Frodo & Co are off on the Quest would be really lovely. For Frodo, as I said above for the Crossover prompts, I love works focusing on his recovery post-canon. Post-canon looks at Merry and Pippin would also be really nice, in the Shire or in Gondor/Rohan--same for Elanor, maybe something from her time as one of Arwen's handmaidens, or after she's grown up and living in the Tower Hills.
For the Bilbo & prompts, pre-canon bonding with the others would be really lovely, and especially in Sam's case teaching them about Elves--he's of course the one who taught Sam his letters, and at least the song about Gil-galad. Bilbo as an eccentric mentor/teacher to the younger generation is just really delightful to me and I'd love to see it explored.
Characters 2:Group: Bilbo & Gil-galad (LotR books)
Group: Bilbo & Boromir (LotR books)
Group: Celebrimbor & Frodo (LotR books)
This batch is basically a repeat of the Crossover set above; just throw the characters together and see what comes out of it! Bilbo and Gil-galad is of course neat because Bilbo did so much translating of old tales for a Shire audience (I am thinking of the Gil-galad song Sam sings in FOTR), and of him meeting the subjects of those stories. And Frodo and Celebrimbor is especially Interesting because of the whole Ring deal. And Bilbo & Boromir in Rivendell would be so fun--I imagine Bilbo has
so many questions about Gondor, and Boromir has only recently even learned what a Halfling is, and going by the Council of Elrond, he has absolutely no idea what to make of Bilbo--it's such a recipe for a fun encounter.
Characters 3:Group: Gilraen & Aragorn (LotR books)
Gilraen (LOTR books)
Group: Gilraen & Ivorwen (LotR books)
Group: Gilraen & Elrond (LOTR books)
Group: Celebrian/Elrond
Group: Arwen & Celebrían & Elladan & Elrohir & Elrond (LotR book)
Gilraen is one of my absolute favorites and anything exploring her life in Rivendell or before it or after it, plus her relationships with the various people in both places who are also involved in raising Aragorn to varying degrees, would be so wonderful. Not to mention her relationship with Aragorn himself: they seem to be very close, and I really love that.
And for the Rivendell fam--I'd love anything from Celebrian/Elrond getting together to them raising their family and running Rivendell to reuniting in Valinor. For the latter I
would like to see Elladan & Elrohir choose immortality rather than mortality, for just one less tragedy in Elrond and Celebrian's lives.
Character 4:Malbeth the Seer
Honestly I just want to know more about them. I HC them as a woman but I'm open to anything. All we know is a couple of their prophecies! This would also be a great way to explore late Arnor and what was going on in Eriador at that time.

Eärendil (Silm)
Group: Eärendil & Turgon
Group: Eärendil & Idril/Tuor (Silm)
Worldbuilding: Worldbuilding: Valinorean preparation for the War of Wrath
Worldbuilding: Reembodied elves
Worldbuilding: Valinor after the War of Wrath and beyond
Worldbuilding: Valinor in Fourth Age
Worldbuilding: Tuor's immortality in Valinor
Worldbuilding: Choice of the Peredhil (Silm)
worldbuilding: reunions after returning from death
Worldbuilding: The Valar in Daily Life/The Valar Doing Their Jobs (Silm)
Really the worldbuilding tags sum up what I'm interested in, with the addition of Fun And Complicated Family Dynamics (sans character bashing of course, please). Elured and Elurin surviving Doriath somehow is always welcome, but also Elured and Elurin dying and then returning from Mandos would
also be very fun, particularly if they don't age in there. I'm very interested in reconcilliation but also in the bumpy road it takes to get there, or even to just start down the road towards it. But I would also love (relatively) uncomplicated joyful reunions between long-sundered family members!
