Hello, dear creator! Innumerable Stars is my favorite exchange and I'm so very excited to see what you make! Any and all prompts are entirely optional, and if nothing in this letter strikes your fancy you can find other exchange letters under the tag in my DW (though I do tend to recycle prompts). I most love worldbuilding and character studies!

DNW: No really graphic violence (canon-typical is fine). Canon-divergence AUs are fine, but nothing that takes it out of the canon world--no coffee shop AUs or whatever, in other words. No smut, please, or incest, etc. I would also not like anything movie-verse, especially for The Hobbit. I also would not like to read fic in which Elros and/or Elrond outright hate their parents, or call Maglor "Father" (he’s absolutely a father figure but he’s not their father, if that makes sense).

Leaf by Niggle

Characters: Group: Niggle & Parish, Group: Parish/Parish's Wife; Niggle, The Tree
Worldbuilding: Journeys & Mountains, The Fate of Niggle's Paintings

The worldbuilding tags--Niggle's Paintings in particular--are what I'd love to see for this canon. Also any sort of character study for the characters mentioned. Outsider POVs might be neat!

Sellic Spell

Characters: Beewolf, Original Character(s), The Queen of the Golden Hall, Grinder's Dam
Worldbuilding: Beewolf's Ancestry, Smithcraft, The Sword Forged By Giants, Ogre Magic

Again the worldbuilding tags sum it up pretty well. For the Queen of the Golden Hall I'd love her POV on events; and Grinder's Dam's origin story would also be very cool!

Roverandom

Characters: Roverandom, Group: Roverandom & Psathamos, Group: Roverandom & The Moon Rover & The Sea Rover, Group: Psathamos & The Man in the Moon & Artaxerxes, Group: Mew & Uin, Group: The Man in the Moon & The Dreaming Children on the Moon
Worldbuilding: The Moon Path, Roverandom's Further Adventures, Memories & Half-forgotten Things on the Dark Side of the Moon

Roverandom's post-canon adventures! Would love to see some, especially if the Moon Rover and the Sea Rover get to be involved. I'd also like to see what wizards get up to or talk about when they get together.
Smith of Wootton-Major

Characters: Alf Prentice, Group: Alf Prentice & Harper, Group: Smith & his Children, Smith, Tim of Townsend, Group: Smith & Tim of Townsend, Original Character(s)
Worldbuilding: Craft in Wootton-Major, Items From Faery, Journeys to Faery, Other Bearers of the Star and their Journeys to Faery, The Borders of Faery, Sentient Nature and Weather, Trees and their Powers, How Master Cooks Choose Their Apprentices

This is a canon where I'd love worldbuilding fic. I'd also dearly love to see Tim of Townsend's adventures in Faery, and whether he receives a gift like Smith's flower. Alf's relationship with various folks in Wootton-Major would also be great, particularly his own apprentice, who must be rather special himself.

Farmer Giles of Ham

Characters: Garm, Chrysophylax Dives, Group: Agatha/Farmer Giles, Group: Agatha & Garm, Bellomarius, Group: Farmer Giles & Garm
Worldbuilding: Dog-latin, Different Types of Dragons, The History of Caudimordax, The Wide World

For Farmer Giles I'd love more worldbuilding, and maybe Agatha's perspective on events. Also Garm goes off wandering all about and I'd love to know more about all of that. Or of course the history of Caudimordax and its previous adventures! Or how precisely Chrysophylax deals with the other dragons once he returns to his own lands.

Crossovers

Worldbuilding: Immortal Characters in History, Magical Forests, The Star from Faery (Smith) in Arda

Characters (1): Group: Daeron & Elrond, Group: Sam Gamgee & Daeron, Group: Bilbo Baggins & Daeron, Group: Arwen & Daeron, Group: Elanor Gardner & Daeron

The Daeron prompts are all literally just me wanting Daeron to meet these various characters. I want to know how they'd interact and what they'd talk about, especially depending upon when they meet!

Characters (2): Group: Frodo Baggins & Nienna, Group: Bilbo & Pengolodh

Frodo meeting Nienna to help work through his healing is a thing near and dear to my heart. And Bilbo, amateur loremaster, meeting Pengolodh, professional loremaster, is just delightful. I wonder whether Bilbo has any criticisms of Pengolodh's writing, or whether he would be eager to impress him?

Characters (3): Group: Maglor & Roverandom, Group: Celebrimbor & Smith, Group: Smith & The Elven Smith of Your Choice

Again, I just want to know what would happen if these characters should meet, and also how Arda might intersect with the Faery of Smith's world, or even the mundane world of Wootton-Major.

Silmarillion

Characters: Group: Earendil & Elrond & Elros, Group: Daeron & Feanor & Rumil of Turion , Group: Daeron/Maglor, Group: Eärendil/Elwing , Elwing, Group: Elrond & Elros, Group: Elured & Elurin & Elwing, Group: Eluréd & Elurín, Group: Celebrimbor & Elwing, Group: Dior & Elwing, Group: Celebrían/Elrond, Finduilas, Group: Lúthien & Melian, Gil-galad, Beleg Cúthalion, Mablung of Doriath, Original Character(s), Group: Elrond & Maglor, Dior, Elrond
Worldbuilding: Tol Eressea, Sirion Before the Kinslaying, Doriath, Valinor During Third/Fourth Age and Beyond, Daily Life In Valinor, The War of Wrath, Choices of the Peredhil, Peredhil as Neither Elf Nor Man, Founding & Early Years of Imladris

For this the worldbuilding tags are pretty great prompts. I'm also fond of Finduilas as Gil-galad AUs, if that strikes your fancy. And I'm always eager for Peredhil family, and most especially Elured and Elurin surviving Doriath, however that might happen!

Lord of the Rings

Characters: Group: Tom Bombadil & the Dunedain, Goldberry, Group: Arwen & Frodo, Group: Aragorn & Halbarad, Aragorn, Group: Arwen & Elrond, Group: Bilbo & Elrond, Arwen, Group: Frodo & Bilbo Baggins, Group: Celebrimbor & Frodo, Frodo Baggins, Group: Rangers & Breelanders, Original Hobbit Characters, Faramir (Son of Denethor II), Farmer Maggot, Radagast, Group: Gandalf & Radagast, Gandalf, Group: Elrond & Gandalf & Galadriel, Lady of the Blue Brooch
Worldbuilding: Gandalf and/or Aragorn's Past Journeys in Moria, Aragorn's wanderings with the Dunedain and Elladan and Elrohir, Fourth Age Shire, Elrond & Vilya, Life in Rivendell, Magic of Rivendell, Elven Magic, Hobbits in Valinor, Rangers of the North, Blue Wizards' Success and Failures

Again here the worldbuilding tags sum it all up. In addition, young Farmer Maggot heading into the Old Forest would be delightful, and I'd also like to see Radagast post-canon--I like to think that his work really begins then, helping the world recover after Sauron.
