Reading Wednesday (on a Thursday)
Feb. 29th, 2024 10:01 amLirael, by Garth Nix- Another reread, following my read of Sabriel. This time around I'm finding myself very curious about the time skip between the books; I'm gonna have to go looking for fic about it.
The Hurting Kind: Poems, by Ada Limon - I never know how to talk about poetry. I liked this collection, though I wouldn't put Limon on my list of favorite poets--but she's well-deserving of the Poet Laureate position, if that makes sense? There was some imagery that I liked a lot, but I've returned the book to the library since and I can't remember exactly what poems they were.
The Goblin Emperor, by Katherine Addison - Yet another comfort read. I just really love this book, and this world. Debating whether I want to read Witness for the Dead and Grief of Stones immediately, or hold off. Still no word on when A Tomb of Dragons is going to be published, alas.
