Hello, dear creator! I'm super excited for Innumerable Stars; it's my favorite exchange every year. If you've already got an idea please feel free to ignore any and all prompts; honestly with the worldbuilding tags at this point I'm just here to point out which worldbuilding tags I chose to go with which characters, with maybe some extra details for some requests (and hopefully to organize them in a way that's somewhat more readable than the wall of text on AO3). I tend to recycle prompts a lot, but you can look through my exchange letter tag here on my DW for other letters for past years and other exchanges. In general I love character studies and worldbuilding, and filling in all the gaps left in canon.
 
DNW: No really graphic violence (canon-typical is fine). Canon-divergence AUs are fine, but nothing that takes it out of the canon world--no coffee shop AUs or whatever, in other words. No smut, please, or closeor-than-cousins incest, etc. I would also not like anything movie-verse, especially for The Hobbit. I also would not like to read fic in which Elros and/or Elrond outright hate their parents, or call Maglor "Father" (he’s absolutely a father figure but he’s not their father, if that makes sense).


Lord of the Rings
 

Gilraen; Elrond & Gilraen; Aragorn & Gilraen - I love Gilraen so much and am always down to read about her--her life before her marriage to Arathorn and after her return to the Dunedain, and her life in Rivendell. How does co-parenting with Elrond work? I like to imagine they become close friends--and she is also one of Elros' descendants, and so very young when she has Aragorn and then comes to Rivendell. Seeing Rivendell through her eyes would also be lovely.

Frodo Baggins, Celebrimbor & Frodo, Elrond & Frodo - I'm a sucker for Frodo in Valinor fics, and also Frodo's healing post-canon in general. I think he and Celebrimbor have quite a lot to talk about between them to both their benefits. Also Elrond is the one that sends Frodo on his quest, and it's clear no one really expects Frodo to come back from it--how does that weigh on him, during the Quest and afterward?

Bilbo Baggins & Frodo Baggins; Frodo & Merry  & Pippin; Fredegar Bolger - Pre-quest Shire worldbuilding would be fantastic. For Fatty Bolger, I'd love a gapfiller sort of fic about what he gets up to while the others are off on the Quest--what was he doing before he ended up in the Lockholes, or maybe afterward as he recovers.

Arwen & Elladan & Elrohir; Celebrian/Elrond - Domestic Rivendell fluff! Choices of the peredhil! I love a world in which Elladan and Elrohir both sail west, but it would be interesting to read about one of them choosing otherwise too. Reunions in Valinor are my catnip.

Bilbo Baggins & Elrond - I just love to imagine the two of them being friends and I'd love just about anything in that vein, serious or silly. I think they both take a lot of comfort from one another during the Quest, both of them very worried about it and about Frodo.

Elanor Gardner; Elanor Gardner & Samwise Gamagee - I love Elanor as Sam's heir, a keeper of the Red Book. I love that she moves to the Far Downs, close to where Elves still live, as close to the Sea as the Shire gets. I don't have any particular prompts beyond the worldbuilding tags I just have a lot of feelings about her and Sam and the history and the future! Also the idea of magic and mystery on the Far Downs from that worldbuilding tag--what sort of adventures might Elanor have there??

The Silmarillion

 Maglor; Daeron; Daeron/Maglor - These two wandering singers with uncertain fates are my favorites. I love elves in history too and these guys are ripe for it, I would love it so much. Or what they're getting up to, together or alone, in the Second or Third Ages.

Cirdan & Maglor - Not a pair of characters I've thought about interacting much but it's so interesting! No ideas, just fascination.

Elrond & Elros & Maglor; Elrond & Maglor; Elrond & Maedhros - I tend to hc Maedhros not being as close to the twins as Maglor, but Elrond meeting Maedhros again after he sails West is fascinating to me, he having grown and done so much and Maedhros having come through the Halls of Mandos. I'm also forever a sucker for Elrond finding Maglor somewhere, or reuniting somehow, and of course kidnap fam in general.

Elured & Elurin; Daeron & Elured & Elurin - I am deeply fond of Elured & Elurin escaping and surviving the sack of Doriath somehow. If Daeron finds them!! That's even more fascinating. Parallels to Maglor and Elrond and Elros but with different baggage. I'd also be interested in an Elured and Elurin who do die but get to come back to Valinor at some point.

Earendil & Feanor - Like with Cirdan and Maglor, no thoughts just fascination. Earendil's been carrying the Silmaril for however-long by the time Feanor gets out of Mandos, and Feanor is...Feanor. They meet. How does that go??

Tindomiel - We know nothing about Elros' daughter except her name and the fact that both she and Arwen Undomiel are named for Earendil and I'd love any kind of exploration of her.

Elwing; Elwing & Nimloth - Elwing deserves nice things! Especially nice things that involve reuniting with her mom!

Celebrimbor & Elrond - Elrond's perspective on Eregion in general would be fascinating, both pre- and post-Annatar. Also the Rings, considering his long use of Vilya.

Earendil/Elwing - My OTP, my beloved--I'll read just about anything. They're the only two half-elves in the world when they meet and they're set apart from everyone else in so many other ways, and they love each other so much!

Crossovers

All the tags with hobbits are just me wanting them to meet all the Elves, either in ME or in Valinor, because it has the potential to be both fascinating and hilarious (especially Bilbo).

Frodo Baggins & Nienna - Frodo healing fics are among my favorites, as mentioned before, and I also love Nienna so so much!
Worldbuilding tags: hurt/comfort

The King of Faery & Maglor; Elf of your Choice in Wootton-Major - These particular worlds colliding is so fascinating! Maglor in particular doesn't even have to come into it via magical means; if Wootton-Major is a part of our world then he can just pass through as himself still wandering through history.

Feanor & Psamathos - I have no idea how this might come about but would be delighted to learn!

Arwen & Elladan & Elrohir & Maglor - A Fourth Age meeting would be incredible, however and wherever that might happen. In the south in Gondor? In the north after Arnor is rebuilt? Might Elladan and Elrohir drag him back to civilization and then onto a ship when they leave? Does Maglor get to meet Arwen's family?

I don't actually have specific prompts for this fandom beyond the worldbuliding tags and a general desire for more Smith fic/art in the world. My love of worldbuilding especially applies here!

The Hobbit

For this fandom too I don't have any particular prompts that aren't maybe a repeat of something I requested earlier, and aside from the worldbuilding tags. I love all things Belladonna and would be delighted with anything about Mirabella and/or Donnamira as well.
