Hello, dear author/artist! It's Innumerable Stars time again, and I am very excited!
All the prompts below are just suggestions; if you have an idea already please feel free to run with it.
I've included worldbuilding tags as sort of extra prompts; you can ignore them if you like.
What I Don't Want: No really graphic violence (canon-typical is fine). Canon-divergence AUs are fine, but nothing that takes it out of the canon world--no coffee shop AUs or whatever, in other words. No smut, please, or incest, or anything like that. I would also not like anything movie-verse, especially for The Hobbit.

The Hobbit
Charaters: Belladonna Took, Thranduil's Wife, Bard the Bowman, Bain of Dale, Bilbo Baggins, Beorn
Worldbuilding: Relations between the Elves of Mirkwood and the Men of Laketown/Dale, Relations between Erebor and Laketown/Dale, Third Age Trade Routes, The Toy Markets of Dale
Belladonna Took: I would love love love to read about one of her adventures! Bonus points for including her sisters and/or brothers, and for shocking the more respectable citizens of the Shire.
Thranduil's Wife: I don't have any particular ideas except that I want to see this textual ghost fleshed out--and alive and well during the events of the late Third Age.
Bard the Bowman: Rebuilding Dale! How does he go about it, and how does his family handle it? (I also would like his wife to be alive and well, even if she does not feature heavily in the fic.)
Bain of Dale: How old was he and what was he doing during the events of The Hobbit? And how did he handle suddenly becoming the crown prince to a newly-reborn kingdom?
Bilbo Baggins: With a mother like Belladonna Took, I would be interested in how he ended up as he was at the beginning of The Hobbit, and why he might have ignored his Took half for so many years.
Beorn: Pre-Hobbit, what were his relationships like with the woodmen, and with the Elves of Mirkwood?
Outsider POV would be neat--what did they think of him? How widely known was it that he was a skinchanger?

The Lord of the Rings
Characters: Finduilas of Dol Amroth, Aragorn, Fredegar Bolger, Estella Bolger, Group: Goldberry/Lady of the Blue Brooch, Frodo Baggins, Group: Arwen & Frodo, Group: Elrond & Gil-galad, Group: Boromir & Elrond, Group: Elrond & Gilraen, Sister(s) of Denethor, Group: Elrond/Celebrian, Celebrian, Group: Elrond & Maglor, Group: Eowyn & Arwen & Lothiriel, Group: Goldberry & Belladonna Took
Worldbuilding: Life in Rivendell, Elessar at Annuminas, Celebrian with Foresight, Effects of the Three Elven-rings
Finduilas of Dol Amroth: I would love anything at all the fleshes her out as a character in her own right. Exploring Dol Amroth itself would also be lovely.
Aragorn: I would like to see anything regarding his various journeys and adventures pre-canon. I also really love his relationship with Gilraen, in childhood and as an adult in between his various journeys. The rebuilding of Annuminas would also be great!
Fredegar Bolger: His activities before being thrown into the Lockholes, after the Big Men take over the Shire, would be amazing. I firmly believe he is just as brave in his own way as the other Travelers, and I'd love to see a fanwork exploring that!
Estella Bolger: What was she doing while the Travelers were away? Did she join her brother in making trouble for the Big Men, or did she find other ways to resist them?
Group: Goldberry/Lady of the Blue Brooch: Who was the lady, and how did she meet Goldberry? What was their relationship like, and what happened to the Lady?
Frodo Baggins: Frodo in Valinor would be amazing, meeting all the heroes from the Elder Days and everything, and also dealing with his injuries and trauma.
Group: Arwen & Frodo: Tolkien said in one of his letters that it was Arwen's idea to send Frodo into the West to find healing. I would love to see a fanwork exploring this and how it came about.
Group: Elrond & Gil-galad: An exploration of how their relationship grows and changes over the years would be very interesting.
Group: Boromir & Elrond: Boromir's thoughts on Elrond would be very interesting, as well as what he thinks of Rivendell, since he spends a couple of months there between the Council and setting off. Or vice versa--what does Elrond think of Boromir, heir to the Stewardship of Gondor?
Group: Elrond & Gilraen: I'd love anything of their friendship from any point in Gilraen's life, from her first coming to Rivendell to the two of them raising Aragorn together (how much tension is there regarding the secrecy about Arathorn etc that Elrond insists upon?) to after she's left.
Sister(s) of Denethor: We know they exist but nothing else! Anything to flesh out these textual ghosts would be amazing. What are they doing during the War of the Ring? What about afterward? Do they get married or not?
Group: Elrond/Celebrian: I'd love to see them as Lord and Lady of Rivendell, maybe something during the wars with Angmar?
Celebrian: What did she get up to before she married Elrond? Her childhood in Eregion would be neat, or her life elsewhere before settling in Rivendell. Or I'd like a fic about her recovery in Valinor or what she gets up to there once she is healed. She has a bunch of family there--her relationships with them would be great to explore.
Group: Elrond & Maglor: Does Elrond ever track Maglor down during his long self-imposed exile? A reunion between them would be cool at any point in time.
Group: Eowyn & Arwen & Lothiriel: The relationships between these Queens and Princesses would be so amazing to explore, through a political lens or a personal one. All three of them come from very different backgrounds, and it would be so wonderful to see them interact and get to know one another.
Group: Goldberry & Belladonna Took: Belladonna heading into the Old Forest for an adventure would be wonderful, or even Goldberry floating on down the river and running into Belladonna downstream.
-
Roverandom
Characters: Group: Roverandom & Little Boy 2, Psathamos, Uin, The Man in the Moon, The Moon-Dog
Worldbuilding: The Dreaming Children on the Moon, Wizarding Relations, The Moon Path
Group: Roverandom & Little Boy 2: They get up to adventures after the book ends, and I'd dearly love a fanwork about one of them!
Psathamos: A day in the life of a sand sorcerer would be neat. Or how he and the Man in the Moon divide ocean duties between them, and what kinds of problems he deals with, on the beach and under the sea.
Uin: He must have all kinds of adventures that would be wonderful to see. Bonus points for the mer-Rover tagging along!
The Man in the Moon: A day in the life on the moon would be neat. Or something about the dream garden and how it works and what kinds of children find their way there.
The Moon Dog: I'd love to see something about one of his visits to Roverandom. How does he get there and back, and what do he and Roverandom get up to when he's on earth?

The Silmarillion
Characters: Group: Elwing/Earendil, Elwing, Elros Tar-Minyatar, Luthien Tinuviel, Nellas, Finduilas Faelivrin, Elrond Peredhel, Group: Elrond & Elros & Maglor, Group: Elrond & Elros, Group: Finduilas/Gwindor, Galadriel, Group: Finrod & Galadriel, Rian of the House of Beor, Elured, Elurin, Lalwen, Group: Findis & Lalwen, Group: Feanor & Fingolfin & Finarfin & Findis & Lalwen
Worldbuilding: Character Study, Song Power, Forgiveness & Redemption, In-universe History and Lore, Finduilas as Gil-galad
Group: Elwing/Earendil: My OTP! I would love anything. Growing up together in Sirion, ruling Sirion together, or something from their life in Valinor--I prefer the happy ending where Earendil comes down from the sky occasionally, instead of being stuck up there permanently.
Elwing: I really love Elwing-in-Valinor stories. Where does she go, what does she do when Earendil is off being a star?
Elros Tar-Minyatar: The early days of his kingship--before the Edain depart Middle-earth, or during the founding of Numenor, would be really cool.
Luthien Tinuviel: I would love love something about her roaming Beleriand during the Years of the Trees, before Melian makes her Girdle around Doriath. Maybe she visits Cirdan in the Falas, or Denethor and his people in Ossiriand, or Lake Mithrim--anything she gets up to during her youth in that time would be awesome.
Nellas: The fact that she avoids Menegroth must mean that she escapes both sackings of Doriath with her life. I love fic that explores where she goes after that and what she does. Or those events from her point of view.
Finduilas Faelivrin: Finduilas as Gil-galad! It's a great AU and I love it so much. Is it an open secret or do only a handful of people know the truth? Why does she decide to disguise herself and become a king?
Elrond Peredhel: I'd like to see something set in the early Second Age. What is he doing, what are his relationships like, what's it like in the (relatively) immediate aftermath of making his Choice?
Group: Elrond & Elros & Maglor: Love grew between them, but we're not told how or what happened or even how long they were with Maglor. Anything to flesh this time out would be awesome.
Group: Elrond & Elros: Peredhil bros! Anything from the time between the end of the War of Wrath and the Edain leaving for Numenor would be lovely, or Elrond visiting Elros in Numenor.
Group: Finduilas/Gwindor: Their early courtship would be sweet. Or a post-Mandos reunion/reconcilliation in Valinor. Bonus points for Finduilas-as-Gil-galad in this scenario. Acknowledging Turin is fine but I would prefer for Finduilas to have gotten over him by this point.
Galadriel: I never know what to request for Galadriel--but any sort of character study would be cool, I'm not picky about where or when it's set.
Group: Finrod & Galadriel: It would be cool to see something set in newly-established Nargothrond.
Rian of the House of Beor: Something happy would be wonderful--from her courtship with Huor, or her relationship with Morwen and her family. An AU where she doesn't die would also be great.
Elured, Elurin: In retrospect I should have nominated these two as a group--whoops. Anyway, I am very attached to the idea that they didn't die in Doriath, and I'd love a story exploring what happened to them or what they did after. But I would also be interested in them coming out of Mandos in Valinor--I think they would still be children in this case: Mandos isn't a place for change or growth.
Lalwen: What does she do in Middle-earth? She follows Fingolfin, so what happens after he dies? Does she make it to the end of the First Age--and if so, what does she do after the War of Wrath?
Group: Findis & Lalwen: They both have lives and relationships outside of their brothers--do they get along with each other? Their parting when Lalwen leaves with Fingolfin would be interesting, or their reunion whenever Lalwen returns--by ship or through Mandos.
Group: Feanor & Fingolfin & Finarfin & Findis & Lalwen: Complicated sibling relationships! What happens when they're all in one place at the same time?

Crossover Fandom
Characters: Group: Frodo & Maglor, Group: Goldberry & Melian
Group: Frodo & Maglor: I have no idea when or how they would meet--when Frodo is younger, or after the Quest, or if Frodo would realize who Maglor is--anything would be neat to read.
Group: Goldberry & Melian: Melian is said to wander around Middle-earth before she encounters Thingol, so it makes sense that she'd venture east of the Ered Luin at some point, and her meeting Goldberry then (and maybe Tom? Who knows!) would be cool.
All the prompts below are just suggestions; if you have an idea already please feel free to run with it.
