Dear Author/Artist,

Hello! It's time for Every Woman and I'm very excited! All of the prompts in this letter are just ideas and suggestions, so please feel free to ignore them if you have a better idea. I can't wait to see what you come up with!

What I Don't Want: No really graphic violence (canon-typical is fine). Canon-divergence AUs are fine, but nothing that takes it out of the canon world--no coffee shop AUs or whatever, in other words. No smut, please, or incest, or anything like that.

The Silmarillion: Elwing, Luthien Tinuviel, Tindomiel, Lalwen, Finduilas, Nimloth of Doriath, Elemmire, Emeldir, Melian, Group: Melian & Este

Elwing: Elwing in Valinor! At any time--exploring her relationships with her family there, or exploring Valinor itself, or her reactions to news of things happening back east, anything would be lovely.

Luthien Tinuviel: I would love something exploring what she got up to in the Ages of the Stars, before the Girdle went up. She may have visited Cirdan at the Falas, or gone diving for pearls off of Balar, or wandered through Ossiriand--she had to do something besides dance through the hemlock umbels.

Tindomiel: All that we know of Tindomiel is that she existed, so I'd love to see absolutely anything.

Lalwen: We know hardly more about Lalwen than about Tindomiel, so again I'd love just about anything. What did she get up to in Beleriand? What was her ultimate fate?

Finduilas: I'm very enamored by the Finduilas-as-Gil-galad headcanon, if you'd like to explore that. But I would also like to see her in Valinor post-reembodiment, reunited with her father or Gwindor (or her mom!).

Nimloth of Doriath: What was her life like before Dior? Did she live in Menegroth, or did she live in Ossiriand? Who were her mother's people?

Elemmire: It would be kind of cool to see an exploration of the Vanyar as a whole through Elemmire, their greatest singer/songwriter. Maybe also her relationship with the Valar/Maiar?

Emeldir: What happened to her after she got her people to Brethil? Did she stay there or go on to Dor-lomin? Did she ever hear what happened to Beren?

Melian: I'd love something about what Melian was up to before she met Thingol. When did she hallow the waters of Tarn Aeluin? What brought her to Nan Elmoth in the first place?

Melian & Este: Este would probably be the one to whom Melian went after she returned to Valinor. Something exploring Melian's grief and recovery, and Este's part in it, would be lovely.

The Lord of the Rings: Rose Cotton, Primula Brandybuck, Elanor Gardner, Goldberry, Arwen, Group: Goldberry & the Lady of the Blue Brooch, Group: Arwen & Gilraen

Rose Cotton: What was Rosie doing when Sharkey's Men overtook the Shire?

Primula Brandybuck: Primula is a Brandybuck but her mother was Mirabella Took, so I imagine she's pretty adventurous. Maybe she goes into the Old Forest and meets Tom and Goldberry? Has she ever been as far as Bree?

Elanor Gardner: I'd love to see something exploring Elanor's time as one of Arwen's handmaidens. Does she only serve in Arnor or does she live in Minas Tirith for a while? What does she think of the Dunedain?

Goldberry: Goldberry's been around a really long time and has seen a Lot. Her POV of any interesting stuff happening in and around her river would be awesome.

Arwen: Arwen lives a very long time before she ever meets Aragorn, and I'd love to see anything from then.

Goldberry & The Lady of the Blue Brooch: I always love a story that explores who the Lady is, and what became of her, and how she becomes someone whose memory Goldberry will cherish through wearing her brooch.

Arwen & Gilraen: I would love to see a friendship between these two women outside of their mutual connection to Aragorn.

Stand Still, Stay Silent: Tuuri Hotakainen, Sigrun Eide, Group: Tuuri Hotaikainen & Sigrun Eide, Group: Tuuri Hotakainen & Ensi Hotakainen, Group: Sigrun Eide & Solveig Eide

Tuuri Hotakainen: I'd love to see something about a younger Tuuri, with her family before the kade showed up, or afterward as she tries to find her place as a skald and mechanic.

Sigrun Eide: A younger Sigrun on her way to being the Most Best, or trying to prove herself among the other troll hunters would be great.

Tuuri & Sigrun: It's been done a million times but I do love a good Sigrun-rescues-Tuuri-from-Tuonela story.

Tuuri & Ensi: I remember the last time I requested this we had very little of Ensi to go on, just a flashback of her being very stern with Lalli, but now we know more, so anything about Grandma Ensi and bitty Tuuri would be amazing.

Sigrun & Solveig: I'd love anything that fleshes out Solveig more, and especially her relationship with Sigrun.
