Hello Dear Author!
First of all, I know I will certainly love whatever you come up with, whether you use my prompts or not. I am really not hard to please.
What I Don't Want: No really graphic violence (canon-typical is fine). Canon-divergence AUs are fine, but nothing that takes it out of the canon world--no coffee shop AUs or whatever, in other words. No smut, please, or incest, or anything.
.
The Hobbit: Bilbo Baggins, Belladonna Took, Gandalf
Bilbo Baggins: I would like to see something where he meets Elves in the Shire, sometime post-Erebor, maybe? Or maybe before. Whichever you think would be more fun.
Belladonna Took: I would love a story about one of her adventures. She is the Famous Belladonna Took, and I'd love to know how she became so!
Gandalf: Gandalf hanging out with hobbits is always a joy, or on one of his many journeys through Middle-earth.
.
The Lord of the Rings: Finduilas of Dol Amroth, Tom Bombadil, Goldberry, Lady of the Blue Brooch, Gilraen, Elrond, Firiel of Gondor, Arwen Undomiel, Daughter of Arwen
Tom Bombadil, Goldberry: I just really like stories about the Old Forest in general. These two interacting with each other or with anyone else who wanders in would be lovely, whether its hobbits or Dunedain or Elves or whoever! Also, a little gapfiller about Gandalf's visit at the end of RotK might be fun.
The Lady of the Blue Brooch: I definitely ship her with Goldberry, but assuming that this is prior to Goldberry's marriage to Tom. Or, any story about who this lady was and what happened to her would be lovely.
Gilraen: I would love to see a story about Gilraen and her mother Ivorwen, or about her in Rivendell, adjusting to living among Elves all the time, or later in life after Aragorn is grown up. Or returning to her people and adjusting all over again to living among the Dunedain in Eriador.
Elrond: Reunions in Valinor would be lovely--with his parents, especially, but also his meetings with various sundry relatives, both Noldor and Sindar.
.
The Silmarillion: Rian of the House of Beor, Galadriel, Luthien Tinuviel, Emeldir, Melian, Finduilas Faelivrin
Rian: She is "a singer and maker of songs," and I would love to see something about that.
Galadriel: I would love any gapfiller about her time in Doriath--her courtship with Celeborn, her friendship with Melian, etc. Maybe part of the Beren and Luthien story from her perspective?
Luthien: Any part of Luthien's story from her own perspective would be wonderful. I'm also interested in her as a mother and grandmother, before Dior packs up and leaves for Doriath.
Melian: She is the only Ainu to have ever become a parent, and I'd love to see something exploring that, and her relationship with Luthien.
Finduilas: I'd really like to see her perspective on the various events of Nargothrond--pre-Turin, I mean.
Emeldir: She is call the "Man-hearted," and I'd like to see a story about how she got that name. Or what happened to her after she led her people out of Dorthonion--did she stay in Brethil, or go on to Dor-lomin, or what? Did she live long enough to hear about what Beren got up to, with the Silmaril and everything?
